Charlotte & Russell

Last night we had the pleasure of celebrating Charlotte and Russell's wedding.

They actually got married a week ago in Cyprus where the temperature was around 38 degrees!  So they all had nice tans for when they came back to the rainy weather we often see here.

Charlotte and Russell had a video taken of the wedding and this was played to the guests last night who were there to celebrate with the newly weds.

Amy & Ryan

Last night we helped Amy and Ryan's guests celebrate their big day.

We met Amy at our first wedding fair last year in Sheffield so it was a special day for us to be able to finally provide the Pod as part of the evenings entertainment.

We took a delivery of new props on Thursday all the way from The U.S.A and the guests were thrilled to be the first people to use them.

Emma & Matt

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Emma and Matt into the newly wed group.

What a crack the Essex bunch are.  We were well looked after ensuring we had drinks and food throughout the night.  Although it was a tough drive back at 2am.  Thanks for the Red Bull guys!

Feel free to download them, tag yourself and friends in too :)

Congratulations once again Emma and Matt from all at Wedding Pods

Carla & Kev

On Saturday we were in Newark at Floral Media for Carla and Kev's big day.

It was an unusual set-up in a giant greenhouse.  Luckily we were there in the evening so it was nice and cool.

We even noticed they had chickens, which we liked here at Wedding Pods as we have 3 of our own.

Karan & Pav's Big Day 30th July 2016

We had the pleasure in entertaining guests at Karan and Pav's big day at Osmaston Park in Ashbourne.

The view over the lake and surrounding countryside were stunning and they had over 500 guests helping them celebrate their commitment to each other.

The Wedding Pod went down really well with all the guests and we recruited a couple of the kids who knew how to use the pod so we got to have a sit down for a couple of minutes :)

The link to the photos taken are on our Facebook page.  Make sure you hit the like button and share the photos with your family and friends.

T-minus 5 days until the next wedding in Newark.

Sarah & James' Wedding 17th June 2016

We had the honour of being part of Sarah and James' special day on Friday.  Albeit a struggle to get to with the M1 being closed due to an accident!  However we made it and used the I Love You backdrop which we haven't seen in a while so it was nice to see it in use again.

The guests soon got into the swing of things and Sarah's mum was our most frequent Pod user.  She wanted to make sure every guest had a photo and put a message in the guest book.  So much so that we completely filled the guest book which is a first so congratulations on the achievement!

There were some really great photos during the night, but my favourite one is of Sarah and her dad.

It's a lovely photo, don't you agree?

The funniest guest book entry we saw was about David walking his dog and apparently stumbled into a wedding!

My younger bigger brothers wedding

When my brother and his fiancée told me they were getting married I was wondering what I could get them for a wedding present.  It then occurred t me I had the perfect gift sitting under my nose! The Wedding Pod.

When I asked whether they would like this, they were thrilled to bits and i'm sure Ella started preparing various poses she could do in each photo.

The wedding was held at Greystoke Castle in Penrith which is a faboulus location and the Marquee was sat at the front of the castle with a panoramic roof to show the castle off in all it's glory.

At 10:30pm There was an amazing fireworks display provided by Oliver's Uncle Michael and as I had a new toy to play with (A DJI Phantom 3 Professional) I took a video of the display which was the drones 3rd flight since I had it so i was a little nervous and kept it away from everyone.  I will upload the video soon once I have played around with the settings.  Oh we also took a group photo with the drone as the Castle was locked when this was being taken.

If you haven't already seen the photos you can check them out here.

Dharmini & Priyesh's Wedding 22nd April 2016

Hi folks,

We had the pleasure of being part of Dharmini and Priyesh's special day on Friday 22nd April at Goosedale in Nottingham.  They chose our gold sequin backdrop and it worked fabulously.

Rather than using a guestbook for people to write their messages to Dharmini and Priyesh, they wrote on the back of the photo and hung it up on the two trees either side of the Wedding Pod.  This looked amazing and was something completely different.  You all know we like to challenge the norm.

We were also asked to include the hashtag #DharminiWedsPriyesh on the photos so they could be uploaded to Facebook and Twitter.  Guests were uploading images to Instagram throughout the day too.

Congratulations Dharmini and Priyesh, you both looked amazing and we feel honoured to of being part of your special day.  Here are a few of the photos.

Save the date Wedding Fair

So, there are only a few days to go until the Wedding Fair.  We have been planning this day for some time to show off our Wedding Pod to the Brides and Grooms to be of the East Midlands.  We have some exciting products to share with you too.

Don't be shy.  Pop over, say hello and have a photo taken.  You'll really enjoy it and you get to see why this would be great to compliment your wedding.

We have a special offer for the day too, but we shall keep it a secret until Sunday.

We might be a little tired on the morning as we will be travelling back from Manchester after seeing the 2004 Eurovision winner Ruslana perform.  We've been waiting 11 years for this to happen.

Theres not much more to say, other than see you on Sunday.

1 Day to go!

Well, it's that time of the week again where we are doimg the final preparations for Myroslava and Callum's big day.  It's the same venue as last week at Tarasivka in Weston-on-Trent.

We have a new prop which will be making an appearance and we have some new help for the evening.

Right then, time to do the final checks.

Good Luck Myroslava and Callum! We will see you on the dance floor.

T Minus 1 Day!

Last night we went to Tarasivka to check on how the preparations were going for Anna and Stebbsi's big day.  We took a large carrier bag of Victoria Plumbs to give to some of the helpers in the kitchen as we had a really good harvest this year.

We have our area marked out and finalised the template being used for the photo's.  The hall is being decorated and all hands are on deck making sure everything is done.

Tonight I will be burning my fingers with a Glue Gun finishing off some of the props that are going to be used.  A number of the props are from Ukraine to add a little something extra.

Preparation Time

Here at Wedding Pods we have been super busy and with one week left to our first Ukrainian Wedding of the year, we are making sure that every thing is ready to go.  There will be over 400 guests attending the wedding at Tarasivka, Weston-on-Trent for Anna and Stebbsi's special day.  The Wisniowka will be flowing and we know there will be some crazy photo's so watch this space!

You would think that we would have some rest before the next wedding, but just seven days later we will be doing it all over again at the same venue for our second Ukrainian Wedding of Myroslava and Callum.

Myroslava was recently on Come Dine With Me and is the owner of Myro Doodles check out her site here. She's been really busy too.  Dancing with her group Podilya, creating loads of fantastic doodles and then making a TV appearance on the C4 show last Wednesday.

Right, lets get back to work.  Check out some of the pictures next week.
